Eligibility to get a new Jio Giga Fiber Router and ₹2000?
Before knowing how to get a new Jio Giga Fiber Router and ₹2000, you need to know even if you are eligible or not. There is no such eligibility for this trick but there is a condition for this trick to work. All the Jio Giga Fiber users whose routers were installed before April 2022 are good to go for this trick.
How does this trick work?
This trick works on the basis of the new Jio Fiber plans that were launched in April 2022. According to the new Jio Giga Fiber plans, a new user can get a connection for free. But the user has to pay for 6 + 1 months of any plan that they like. Jio Fiber Router and even set-top box have no installation fee.
Things need to Upgrade your Jio Giga Fiber router and get ₹2000?
There is nothing that you need to have except ₹2300 – 4000 (depends on your plan). “I should get ₹2000 right, why should I invest?” Let me explain.
According to the new Jio Plans, when you get a new connection, the installation is free but you have to recharge (only for prepaid) for at least 6+1 months of any plan that you like. So, you need to have ₹2300 – ₹4000 to use this trick.
How to cancel the old router and get ₹2000?
After getting a new connection, how would you cancel the old router? Well the cancellation should be done before getting the new router. This sounds complicated but it is not.
When you order a new Jio Giga Fiber router, there will be two Jio executives who visit your address. The first Jio executive takes care of documentation and pricing. The second Jio executive takes care of the installation of the new router and wiring.
When the first Jio Fiber executive visits you, you have to ask him to cancel the old Jio Giga Fiber Connection. After payment for the new connection and documentation, he will call Jio Customer Care and cancels your old connection.
After 2-3 hours, the second Jio executive visits and installs the new router. Within a week to 10 days, another Jio executive visits and picks up your old router with its charger. Make sure that the router is in working condition (In most areas routers will not be checked). He also asks you about your bank account details to which, ₹2000 will be credited.
